You and julie kelly are criticizing a judge for not allowing a "capital rioter" to take a Jamaican vacation? Seriously?

I was sitting on a jury for a capital murder case. At the time I was between jobs. One day we were running long (past 6pm) during testimony, and I had a 7pm job telephone interview that I was not going to make unless we ended soon, so I sent a note to the judge through the bailiff asking if we could end soon. The judge sent back a tersely worked "sorry, no" (a few days before someone sent a similar note to to the judge about concert at the Pavilion he might miss and the judge ended early, I guess the judge was worried it would lead to more requests) and I missed the interview and ultimately didn't get that job.

So forgive me if I have no sympathy for a "capital rioter" who is going to have to miss his Jamaican vacation. Maybe don't riot in the capitol next time.

Did Joe Biden win the Presidential election fair and square?

 

Since I’ve been overseas have missed most of the coverage of the anniversary. Skimming through the last few pages of this thread and some other social media it is troubling that a year later many of the same arguments diminishing this event or even defending it are still being made.

What is most troubling is the elected political leaders who decried the event and the former President, who’s safety was literally put at risk that day, in some cases were preparing to fight the mob as it was trying to break into the Floor of the House have now seem to forgotten how serious they say was and go to great lengths to excuse it. Lindsey Graham who said on the floor of the Senate that “he was done with Trump”, Kevin McCarthy who said Trump wa to blame on the floor of the House, and Mike Pence who rioters chanted to be hung all now act as if 1/6 was just another day.

As much as so many try to diminish, rationalize or excuse it wasn’t just another day at the Capitol. This was an unprecedented assault on the seat of US Government specifically meant to stop the certification of an election that according to every recount and court case in as conducted properly.

It was a literal assault on democracy..

 

If he says yes, nothing he's posted about January 6th makes sense. Good luck.

Don't know if is important or not, but he didn't answer the question (whether Biden won fair and square). Perhaps that's why he defends the insurrection?

What studying needs to be done? Every state that he has challenged has at least double and triple checked and nothing has changed. Many of the states he has challenged has Republicans in charge. It has been in the news quite often since November 2020. 70+ lawsuits, 70+ losses,1 minor win.

Simple question - Who legitimately won the 2020 election - Trump or Biden. DUH...I don't know because I haven't studied it, isn't an answer.

 

You're obviously entitled to your opinion but the evidence on this is overwhelming and it doesn't take much research to determine that.
