@Buck Turgidson my aunt and uncle (Kilian) have one of the larger properties in Bend/San Saba. That’s a beautiful-art of the state.
It's perfectly situated: way far enough away from the big cities so you avoid tourists and weekend city ranchers, but close enough to get anywhere you want within a couple of hours on the highway. Whoever bumped this thread is an ass...now I'm thinking about all this **** again.
People are being driven out of Austin by the housing prices, so there are many ranches being turned into subdivisions. Yes, it's a problem.
