Considering he is only 21, plenty of time to grow. he has played in just 99 NBA games, so that is basically a little bit past a rookies season. New position as well. New backcourt partner. Takes time to get to where fans want him to be and the team

Right I know that BUT that being said I think he will get better but I dont think he'll ever be a point guard and I think we may be hurting him by forcing the position on him.

well he is a point guard, that is the position he is playing and really he wouldn't be playing any different if he was SG. He would still be bringing the ball up and trying to get things going. When he can get his assists going, we get some wins. He averages 8.2apg in the 6 wins he has been in. he just needs to be more consistant at it

    Also 7-13 against the East.

4-15 against the own Conference - Western Conference teams.

I've been saying the exact same thing.....but will the fans have patience???

I'm curious to know, how many NBA games has CW started? And as I've been saying, it takes big men longer to develop.

Mad respect for Gordon and his long tenure as a Rocket. He's done a lot for this franchise. But man I can't imagine his trade value being any higher than it is now. It's time to pull the trigger on trading Gordon for a young prospect or a draft pick.

The return should be decent because I can't imagine any current contender not wanting Gordon's services now. It should be relatively easy to find a decent offer for him.

Yes now is the time. 45% from 3, still playing great defense. If they can’t get a good FRP for him, they should keep him.

Not sure why you say it "didn't work." Compared to this experiment at PG, it was a resounding success. KPJ averaged his best shooting percentage, offensive efficiencies, and contribution to win shares in that role than he has with us at PG (while also turning the ball over far less).

In terms of Morey, I mean making decisions based on what the data is telling you. Morey was the first to go all-in on 3-pointers or layups. Morey traded away Capela in a hail mary run for a championship with Russ, realizing Clint and Russ couldn't coexist effectively. Small ball was the right move for that roster and gave us the best chance to win. These are a few decisions that he made based on analytics, but there are many others that drove smart player personnel moves and influenced what we saw on the court.

lol these guys love so much to win! and silas loves to throw games away on purpose...he should be imprisoned for child abuse....so much happiness denied...

everybody in this gamethread was thrilled for us just to be competitive in this game(!) and this guy was bold or dumb enough to break the wining streak on purpose and restart the thesis experiment...lololol it was a crime against sport, he quit on this fanbase and should be suspended for a couple of games at least

if your 19 years old rookie is rolling, and abusing the ruling champion in the post, THE FINALS MVP, what kind of weirdo benches the kid and throws the game away? especially after he played him only 5 minutes just a few games before because the veteran scrub was 'playing good?'

YEah, I just realized: this kid has been in the NBA for almost half a season, and that's only... what... his second or third win?
