He is not ready to handle the point full time. I like KpJ a lot but he is heading down the folly path of Westbrook and its un-necessary. Tate Green Gordon and KpJ need to handle with him so that he can use cuts and angles to get easier assists and baskets

I actually think it's worse. Westbrook is a better finisher near the rim, and better at shot creation for teammates, even right now with as bad as he's playing. KPJ is often a negative on the court. Even tonight I thought he had a crucial turnover that we were fortunate to get an out of bounds call go in our favor on.

I think he handles the ball well, but not for a PG, and his passing and finishing skills are lacking. I think his more natural role is as a SG, and that he'd make the SF shift well given how small teams are going and his own length. As this is a development year, I'd like to see Nix given the reins and see how he does at point.

Nix has got point DNA and I think KPJ as a small forward makes more sense. He can Mix his game up and not have the burden of playmaking decisions which drains him down and makes him ineffective

Yeah and the last few games he is a 2-1 assist to turnover guy, which is pretty danged good.

Last 10 games has him at 42% FG and 44% 3pt......so he is improving....in a new position......let's just enjoy the ride.

RE: Last shot - Porter said this from ESPN recap.

"Porter had the decisive say on the next possession when he sank a 24-footer over Neto's outstretched arm.

"We ran a wiper play and it was either for me or Jalen," Porter said. "Whoever Neto was guarding, that's who we favored to get the last shot. They switched. Once they switched, I knew I had to be aggressive and take that last shot.

    Following Silas directive, good job!

So both can start right away? Wow. If it works out like tonight then kudos to the coaches.

"Objective human" is an oxymoron anyway, pretty sure ;)... Being willing to admit it is nice

I like this idea of pg by committee. It also allows tate and EG to get going by touching the rock and not be too passive.
Some back cuts and giveandgos here and there would do wonders for his and jalens confidence. Rather than over reliance on iso ball.

KPJ isn’t a 3. They tried it in Cleveland and it didn’t work. I don’t think KPJ Is a starter in this league. Not sure why you included Morey in the discussion or what you meant by Morey esque perspective. Probably giving him too much credit here. But I’m assuming that they are giving KPJ a full year then will re evaluate. At this rate he probably wouldn’t be our starting pg next year barring a stellar second half of the season.

Can anyone confirm if there was anything thrown in the locker room out of happiness tonight?

Hopefully the coaching staff all put on protective goggles when they step into the locker room.

Actually apart from him missing shots, he was good without starring....7 rebounds 8 assists 4 steals, only 4 turnovers(which he has gotten way down since the first month) He just couldn't hit a shot inside the arc, he went 2-4 from three

    I'd give him a C+

I loved Jalen Green hunting the defensive rebounds today. Seems like maybe it was a plan for him to grab more and target them

I think the plan is for him to get the rebound so he can start the transition.

Whenever Wood gets the rebound, he insists on bringing the ball up himself either at a snail's pace, or he'll go for an isolation play.

If you just look at stats thats true but his decision making really needs to get better.
