We adopted a dog today from the local SPCA. It's a Catahoula Leopard. Currently, it's named Henry, but we're thinking of changing the name to Shiner or Marley, after the beer and the Legend, respectively. I'm freakin' pumped. Will post pics of the new addition as soon as we get them!

Major, major congrats to y'all. A good friend here has a catahoula, and it's an awesome dog. She named him Xiao. I get to walk him sometimes, and those are good days indeed.

Maybe. We almost named our cat Cuttino, but then what happens if he gets traded, sucks, or signs somewhere else? I was thinking about doing a DMB theme with my future pets since naming kids after them is just plain creepy.
Case in point. If I were to go the DMB route, I'm thinking of Captain or Stone, after the songs of the same name (sans the "the" on "The Stone").
