I can't believe we chose to keep Christian Wood over this kid.

I think that is mostly since the debate before the draft was whether we should pick Green or Mobley. Nobody was saying we should have drafted Wagner or Barnes (I remember Toronto getting slack for not going for Suggs). So naturally people continue that discussion after the draft.

Watching games you can tell two things.

    1) He defers on rebounds to other players on the team, lowering his overall rebound numbers

    2) He is still not the strongest, time will tell how strong he will be but he will never outpower on rebounds, will have to be length and skill. Think Chris Bosh more than Duncan

    He has a bright future.

“Evan Mobley is the best two-way player from last year’s draft,” one NBA executive told HoopsHype. “He has a maturity about him.”

Interesting Cade is that low. They are already giving up on him turning into a franchise player? And Tatum at #2 is also interesting. He's been in the league longer than almost all of the other ones and his team is still mediocre.

I wonder how long it'll take the Rockets organisation to get over this.

Tanking an entire season to get a high draft pick. Only to draft a player who is so average at best in so many fundamentals. It's astounding.

When you've got an owner who is an utter joke, I guess it's only right the important decisions they make are jokes too.

Sucks this kid refused to even work out for the Rockets and would have forced a trade if we drafted him.

Is there any doubt left that we should have taken Mobley?

He is a much better NBA player than Green at this time.

Now, we have to hope that Green develops into a player, first as good as Mobley, and then beyond.

You have to be able to recognize elite talent as a GM - Stone blew it with his first high pick, he did ok with Sengun and Christopher but there is no pressure on those...you have to be the guy that takes Michael Jordan, not the one that takes Sam Bowie.....

Let's hope that Green gets a WHOLE WHOLE WHOLE lot better.

I blame Marvin Bagley, he made GM's fearful to pick tall dudes high in the draft.
