harden quit on tilman, what was the upside of harden staying. This roster without him lost 22 straight games. Unfortunately harden didn’t have joe lacob as an owner during his time in Houston. Harden was playing with John wall, cousins, Gordon and tate. That team wasn’t gonna win a title and won’t till tilman opens his checkbook

the guy in your avatar is a legit cheater tho

The Astros have been to The World Series or WCF in what? The past 5 years.... In the most unpredictable and toughest sport to recreate this type of success in. The org has been successful in nearly every single category and you want to minimize the greatness of this team for a quitter? For a playoff choke artist? Bruh, Harden has never even come close to what Altuve has done when it actually matters. He has not done what Altuve has been able to accomplish period.

I get that you like Harden but your hero's superpower is turning invisible when his team needs him the most...

I’m all about Houston teams. Love my Astros, Rockets, Texans. Go take your Harden nut hugging to a Brooklyn site.

That’s not his hero, it’s his obsession. Very weird for a grown man to obsess over another grown man like he does.

The coach asked him 2 stay at half court? This excuse is pathetic. I get you love Harden like a first love in high-school, but cmon now. The man quit on his team, the organization & city of Houston

mans everybody thinks y’all cheated. Everybody is getting up outta there. I’m surprised y’all got verlander back. Springer gone, Correa soon to be gone. Bregman looks like he definitely benefited from the sign scandal check his numbers. What’s gonna happen when Correa( who led the team in war leaves)

If you hate harden why are you always in his thread trolling his fans.

go bump the “trade James harden” or “I’ve grown to hate James frauden” thread in the GARM lol. The rockets won’t have a player of hardens caliber for another 20 yrs more than likely

Yeah I watched the game and baseless anonymous exec assertions mean nothing.... Such a deliberate move is of no gain to him and that game was a direct blow to how great he was perceived as a player at the time... You're not even logically consistent as it's not like he recorded big numbers/accolades in that dELiBeRaTe losing performance.

The notion by some other media members that he was perhaps playing through symptoms from a concussion from the end of game 5 where he took a big hit to the head and seemed lost the rest of that game prior and affecting him in the following is more plausible than that as the performance was so poor, lethargic, and seemingly out of it from the opening tip.

    https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/...s-harden-playing-through-a-concussion.286895/

It's also more plausible that just playing more games and load managing less than ALL his peers combined ALL season ALL while carrying the largest offensive load in the league and having to create almost everything for himself and his teammates with no other star to help ease that load took it's toll on him and that's what we got.

Apparently YOU... just like most talking heads don't watch most of the games of the teams they talk about because Harden spacing out far from Cp3 was deliberate and typical of how we played for the majority of those two seasons when we were winning a bunch of games with them.... Harden's man would generally stay with him or be fixated on him in those situations as well as Cp3 took advantage of that part of the court to manipulate his defender especially BIGS... Harden and Cp3 both spent a bunch of time in 17-18 isolating and exploiting mismatches on bigs and weaker defenders with their superior handles and shooting ability off the dribble.... Manipulating defenses and also opening shots for the rest of the team... It worked masterfully, but after the hamstring injury in the 2018 playoffs... Cp3 rehabbed and came into 2019 an inferior version of the CP the year prior sorta in the sense of how Harden came into this season post hamstring before playing his way into shape/conditioning and gaining the strength back exploding in his drives off the dribble... That happened in the past few weeks.

CP3 after tearing his hammy in 2018... He had to rehab in the off-season and he came into the next season an inferior version of the player in 17-18... As he was playing his way back into form he pulled his hammy against Miami and missed a huge chunk of games right in the middle of the season....This led to Harden having to do a Herculean effort and an MVP level run of offensive dominance for a ton of games beating many top teams without another star in tow while launching the Rockets up the standings... It also led to many thinking Cp3 is not just injury prone, but that he may be washed... Cp3 was still good in 2019, but he showed a consistent inability to exploit mismatches like he did the year prior in isolation especially against bigs and we saw him struggle mightily with this in the 2019 playoffs especially against the Warriors and this was probably in part to the hamstring issues affecting his conditioning/movement and making him more tentative off the dribble.... Which led to him struggling to be as effective playing the way we played the year prior and led to the worst playoff series of his career at that point.

His numbers are astonishing since the covid return. I’m glad James is taking his nutritional dieting to heart.

They're similar to his Houston style. Below average shooting from the field with scoring totals inflated by volume free throws. These types of games don't exist for Harden in the later rounds of the playoffs. They're fools' gold.

And he still looks slow out there.

BK has no spacing compared to last year

Steve Nash out here running lineups featuring Brown, Bembry, or Johnson to go along with Claxton and Aldridge in the frontcourt

Nets are just 24th in 3 point attempts

last game against Philly they took just 26 threes

Harden, KD, and Mills are their only shooters, and Harden only takes his threes in ISO situations off the dribble
