Some of these dudes have to go! It will set us back slightly in the short term, but it’s better for the future. Can’t build a team and a culture with malcontents that lack maturity. Get what you can and count your losses. Wait too long and you’ll get nothing like Danuel House. Bye b****! 2022!
Wood and KPJr must go…both immature dumbasses Wood is a nice player, but if u pay him big money, u fcked up. KPJr just sucks get rid of them now
I think you have more time with KPJ. I'd like to see him shifted out of the PG role sooner rather than later. We tried, it didn't work out. That's what this season was about anyways, so the good thing is we got our answer. I'd like to see him moved to the SF role and Nix start out as PG. If it has to be a veteran, give EG or Augustin the nod at PG, though neither is a long term solution. I like Christopher, but he doesn't play like a natural PG and Nix looks like a more natural facilitator on the court. With Wood, I don't think we can wait any longer. Not sure what the issue is with him, but he's been so petulant on the court, it's really ridiculous. If we don't trade him, I'm not sure he makes the rest of the season without us having to sit him till the offseason. At this point, I think he believes he's better than everyone else on the team, that the team and HC suck, and that he deserves to be given superstar status on the court (run the offense through him, let him hoist 20+ shots per game). Because he doesn't respect the coach or his teammates, he's going to be a malcontent and ruin the morale of the locker room. A few weeks ago I felt like we had the luxury of waiting till the offseason to trade him if we didn't get what we were looking for at the trade deadline. Unfortunately, I think that boat has sailed and that we have to cut bait.
Yeah I was even wanting them to trade him away last season or the off season. You won't ever know but I assume you will not get less in a trade for him.
I would be up for an investigation because as posters said. No leadership whatsoever. No accountability. Still props to John Lucas for dealing with these kids on a daily basis. I mean, could you not wait till after the trade deadline to pull this sort of crap?
Silas has to go IMHO. Stone should be investigated, at least a change of his team. Can't have a management and coaching staff around that are so weak. The MDA staff let Harden do whatever he wanted.
Both these scrubs should be thankful for what the Rockets organization has done for them. One is a journeyman that was never given the opportunity he was given here and the other was damn near out of the NBA and traded for NOTHING. Yes NOTHING! And this is how they repay the organization that has given them every opportunity to be successful, to rewrite their narratives, grow their games and continued to back them through all their mediocre play on the court.
