The New Yahoo mail....Damn, 100mb or storage! I can actually save emails and not foward them to another address cuz there is not enough space. Hoorah for Yahoo!!! I'm stoked!

LOL. My brother sent me a Gmail account invitation today, and I signed up. I was excited by the prospect of having 1GB of email space. Well, after getting home from work, I just found out that Yahoo bumped my email space to 2GB today, plus they gave me other stuff, like virus protection and personal options. (I have Yahoo Mail Plus.) Isn't life funny?

Really? I've got a regular free yahoo account and i've been bumped up to 100 mb. You might want to raise some hell with those yahoos over there.
They sent me an email this morning saying my storage had been bumped up to 100 megs. It didn't take effect until tonight though. Now I've gone from 87% full to 3% full, enabling me to put off cleaning out my mailbox just a little longer...
There was an attack earlier yesterday morning against Yahoo and a couple of other major sites. I think it was a DoS attack. I'm wondering if it's still going or if this is part of their upgrade blues.
I wonder if other email providers such as hotmail will follow. Also, I wonder what are Yahoo's motives for bumping it up.
these are great news, since i´m selling/buying alot via ebay and have to storrage a lot of mails... btw: anyone know, if they have also increased the number of spams you can block (till now, it used to be "only" 100 addies...)
