He has taught these kids plenty. Now it's time for the youngsters to take the training wheels off. Trade Eric Gordon for at least one first rounder if not more. Looking at what Tucker brought us. Knicks were rumored to be interested and now Derrick Rose is gone. That's a good trade partner.
KPJ and Gordon for a lottery level first works. Don’t think that hauls us multiple firsts. KPJ, Theis, Gordon could get us two late firsts.
well...they signed danuel house to ten day contract, so we know thibideux is desperate. i want to hold onto gordon. with rose out kpj may be someone they'd consider. but yea, getting rid of theis would be great too. every team wants eric gordon. i'm sure expirings and a first is already on the table.
lol what did he taught them tho? to shoot below 30% on 3s tunnel vision? or to not be skilfull dribblers and turn it over if its anything more than 2 dribbles? shoot a 3 early in the shotclock when cold before even scanning other available options?
"Well other than the team falling apart..." I guess that isn't enough rationale lol and that's not the only reason I've stated. But y'all really spitting absolute fire with that "trade him to a contender" with no context whatsoever. I mean that 2nd paragraph is an absolute maelstrom of contradictory statements. I look forward to Christian Wood's defensive tutelage of our young, talented players.
AAAhhhh that's the phrase I was looking for!! I.D.I.O.T. I have grown to love Eric Gordon. He's teaching the kids how to have heart. Hear me out, the Eric Gordon experiment is still on. And others I'm sure lol @Os Trigonum help me out what am I missing?
DId you miss last season. One of the 2 won ......lmao. PJ Tucker won a championship in the East. I get that you want to be the cool rebel, and you almost pulled it off but please get ur facts straight.
I used to think that Gordon could not be easily traded because of his contract. But his performance this season so far and the comparative contracts of some other players, it looks like he will be a good value. Some people here want to get rid of good veterans just to tank for a chance for a top pick. I am against throwing away good players, including Gordon and Wood. Trade them for the rebuilding purpose is fine. But don't just throw them away. These guys have values other teams covet. Get a good return. For example, a low FRP is NOT good enough return for Gordon. Think from the other side. If you were a win-now team, what would you give to get a player of Eric Gordon's caliber to enhance your chances to a title? I'd give a lottery pick. But these team don't have lottery picks. So "trade him to a contender" isn't as simple as some of you think. The best scenarios would be to get a high ceiling-high floor young player from one of these teams.
I think it will be hard because most teams other than the Rockets have him pegged as the 6th Man. I think he cannot shake off that label easily. While the 6th Man can have a huge impact, I doubt contenders will give up so much for a Sixth Man. I do think Ego is more professional and a more outstanding teammate than Wood.
lol you are using every little tiny ambiguousness to get back on me...its a nice little sign you are losing...it was meant before suns or bucks win....now dont say next but the bucks already won last year....because it was meant from now on
I’m speaking as a fan when I say suffering and If Gordon doesn’t care about winning and only money then yeah it doesn’t suck but if he actually wants to win then why would he want to be here and why would we want to keep him? Of course he’s not complaining about his situation now because he’s a professional and understands it’s only temporary but do you think Gordon actually wants to be a Rocket beyond next season? Dudes just turned 33 today and his window of opportunity to be an important piece on a contender is closing. It makes no sense to keep him especially if other teams have shown interest
