This is the kind of stuff I don't understand. How can you support this man then go call everything the Dems do as "communism and socialism" all the while ignoring that the majority of the world has some type of universal healthcare examples (Canada, Australia, Denmark, Japan, Korea, Germany, Netherlands etc etc etc etc etc) regarding inflation it is everywhere right now...

    https://www.nytimes.com/2021/12/13/business/workers-pay-europe-inflation.html

Yet you can still support this idiot Trump. I don't understand.

That's the thing...people will forget the stupid **** he said but will remember the partisan bitterness and rancor he started among the people years later.

If America is one giant echo chamber, the bickering definitely grew louder.

The GOP bulldogs of Benghazi roll over for insurrectionists

Paging Trey Gowdy! [IMG] Where’s the bulldog of Benghazi when his country needs him?.

On Sept. 11, 2012, terrorists attacked the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Four Americans died. On Jan. 6, 2021, terrorists attacked the U.S. Capitol. Five people die, including a police officer.
Four more officers died by suicide in the following months. Another 140 police were injured.

The differing responses to the two tragedies show the rank hypocrisy in the GOP and the sickness that has taken hold of it.

The GOP-controlled Congress launched eight congressional investigations of Bemghazi over 4 years, culminating in a 2-yr, $7 million selected committee extravaganza led by Gowdy.
Theirs was an unrelenting (and unsuccessful) campaign to prove a preconceived premise that then-Secretary of Stat Clinton had arrange for the US military to "stand down" instead of
coming to the air of Ambassador Chris Stephens and other three victims.

Now we know, thanks the text messages of Trump's WH COS Mark Meadows, that

while domestic terrorists were sacking the Capitol and legislators hid in fear for their lives,
several Republican lawmakers, Fox News personalities and Fredo Trump reached up to
Meadows to urge Trump to call off the attack.

Trump refused for hours, and Pentagon stalled on an urgent pleas to deploy
the National Guard to defend the Capitol.

Essentially, Trump did just what the Repugs falsely accused Clinton of doing in Benghazi.
And attacking the US seat of government is orders of magnitude worse than attacking a diplomatic outpost

Since trump is the leading republican candidate for 2024 I guess the rnc felt it necessary to keep him out of jail by paying his legal bills?

im not sure how anyone could say trump was best or even that he did a good job. aside from the insurrection which he incited and all the support and enabling he gave to white supremacists and his cozying up to authoritarian dictators, he failed on three of his bigliest policy proposals that he ran on...mexico didnt pay for his wall, he didnt repeal and replace obamacare and he didnt balance the budget.

history judges presidents in large part on whether they get their agenda through and in that respect trump was a failure.

Sad to see that a billionaire needs a hand with a $1.6 million bill.

GOP Playbook, they have no stance on any policies, they cater to fear, name calling and calling the left "evil" at any given turn............still waiting for that long awaited health care plan that trump promised.............oh wait, there isn't one.....shocker

Sadly, this is what the GOP base wants so the GOP panders to them........they know the playbook and sadly they play it well, people like MGT, Palin and the rest of the psychos are just like the base so they can relate to their hate speech and they eat it up

It’s an easy grift when you can just say “radical left” in an endless loop and get votes. Then sell out to special interests and get your family cushy jobs as consultants selling your vote.

The selling out to special interests is both sides, but Dems actually have to follow through one in a blue moon.

The key takeaway... republicans favor the guy that stood 100% behind trump over the guy that tried to have it both ways...
