I really agree with this. I want Sengun to start NOW and get as many minutes as possible and make as many mistakes as possible. This is the year to do it we have our pick.
This is a great way to come back, efficient shooting, good overall game and another L towards our tankathon victory!
I was there when he was drafted, and I'll be there when he retires a rockets legend, go green (seems simple enough!) hes learning
Which defensive plays in particular are you focused on? I saw a couple of steals and a block. Rotations seemed mostly fine. Nothing else really stood out to me. Or is that just a thing to say because you can't complain about anything else. It seems like the Ja8ers are just defaulting to this and hoping nobody asks for receipts. I need to see a receipt.
I want Green to be as special as he was hyped, and am encouraged by his good game tonight. Tonight his 3's dropped and he looked great. He won't always shoot 67% from 3, so I would like to see more efficiency in creating drives for himself, and more free throws. We've known since the first few games that when Green's 3 is on, he's going to have a decent game. I think his break through game will be when his 3 isn't falling and he has a good game.
There will be a time in the next year or 2 when Jalen Green will have put on 10-15 pounds of muscle. He is already one of the most explosive athletes at his position in the NBA. If you don’t see the vision of what this 19 year old can become with proper NBA strength and conditioning I just don’t know what you’re looking at. Faster, stronger, quicker. That’s scary.
Noticed his shot looked better tonight. If he continues his rate of mechanical improvement since his high school days (NSFW: Broken Jumper), he'll be Klay Thompson in Ja Morant's body in no time. I was hard on Jalen, and I take back none of that criticism, but we saw how much a player can improve year after year with Harden. I've said it many times, whether Jalen Green wants to be a star or not is up to Jalen Green.
There were couple of lapses but from what I saw he was solid. Fighting over screens, active hands and good close outs. Idk what more they are expecting at this point. His effort level was certainly there
