They had him at more athletic Chris Paul at the Draft. People want a franchise player, but when Bradley Beal who isn't even a clear cut superstar is better than John Wall, then there should be some question marks. If you lower your expectations, of course, he would be living up to his 'average' draft class. But still no idea why people are trying to defend a guy who isn't going to be remembered as a long tenured Rocket legend. Just people being bored I guess.
so yeah, as great KD’s on the court, something’s quite messed up up there. Clowning a 13 yr old online?? https://eu.usatoday.com/story/sport...tical-tweet-hurts-13-year-old-boy/8993268002/ that’s messed-up
I see solid Defense - always stays in front man, good at moving feet Let's game come - doesn't rush like Josh, real.smooth, takes what he can get Offense - real quick, can pass well, fall fundamentals there
Very good return game, his numbers in his last 10 games are night and day in comparison to his first 10 games. I'm pretty impressed with his defense overall tonight, had a couple of lapse with cuts, but there were a couple of possessions with terrific help defense where Turner had a wide open dunk but Green blocked him at the rim, and then forced a miss shortly after in another possession where Turner was wide open. Granted, Turner got the offensive rebound in both scenarios and scored anyways, but that's just poor help from the rest of the team.
He was making more instinctual reads, it seems like. Looks like he really has been paying attention on the sideline and during film. If he shows us in the next few games that he can keep up his defensive awareness and energy, then I’m going to assume it’s here to stay and that his ability to learn is super impressive. looked a lot more comfortable on offense too, especially after such a long break. I’m very much looking forward to him stringing together some fun games!
Green was 11 points in 10 minutes when the Rockets played the Bulls and started the one "Big" rotation. and at one time tonight was 20 points in 20 minutes before returning from the bench and facing zone defense. Around a point a minute is good in my opinion Now if we can get Mathews and Brooks rolling again.
First of all how dare you for putting me amongst these people 2nd of all he looked good, one of his super hot shooting nights, the biggest negative is he got completely lost off-ball defending numerous times. He did, however, at the same time have multiple good defensive plays. He needs to bring some consistency to his shooting, nights like this are great, but he can't shoot 25% over the next 5 games.
