I think it’s just the way he holds his arms, he looks undersized but then when he’s next to legit 6’10/6’11 guys he’s the same size.
The hyper long, jumbo guys will give him trouble but they give most guys trouble

Yeah, I did. It was an overtime game and Westbrook only played 22 minutes. Steven Adams played 9, Sabonis played 29. And they won those minutes comfortably. Kyle Singler, Enes Kanter, Ronnie Price, Alex Abrines, and Ersan Ilyasova played big minutes and those are the minutes they lost. Same thing against Barcelona, their starters minutes are in the 20s. It's a preseason game. If they cared about the result they would have their best players closing the game, rather than their bench.

these guys will give Sengun trouble...until he locks down his 3 point shot.

a CONSISTENT 1-2 3's a game will truly unlock him.

So you can answer why there are matches between NBA&Lower League teams but not between NBA & Euro Bigs in the last 5 years (except strangely Euro placed Tel-Aviv)?

I think your theory is still a good one. A lot of people probably would just look at the result and think "wow, these euro teams are beating NBA teams?" and Adam Silver probably thinks that looks bad. I'm sure he would prefer the optics of all those euro teams getting blown out to demonstrate the NBA supremacy over international leagues. I'm just saying is if these were real games that counted, instead of preseason games, I don't think they would be close.

Especially if the games are played with team-oriented, Euro-rules, which are superior to the defense-is-hamstrung rules of the NBA.

he should work on 3pt shot but not sure if playing 15 min is an ideal situation for that project, perhaps after he establish himself more and gets 20 shots a game
i mean hes barely had time to get into rhythm and do his bread and butter things

if he were to play 35 minutes and to be able to hoist 5-8 3s a game and sneak a few midrangers inthere(because he needs a midrange too) that would be ideal

thats why i am a big fan of him also playing g leagues games alongside nba assignments

you need playing time in order to develop and unlock...look what a short stint at g league did to JC

you cant develop 3 pt shoot taking 2 jumpshots a game

Memo "Moneyman" Okur is assistant coach in Turkish national team and he will teach something about being stretch-5, 3pt shooting to Alpi.

Memo was a 6'11" big man, a good example of 3pt shooting center. Before NBA, he was mainly a power forward, playing alongside Rashard Griffith of Wisconsin in Tofas or next to H. Besok and Predrag Drobniak of Clippers/Hawks in Efes. He evolved to modern day center in NBA, had championship ring and became All-Star. He will certainly teach Alpi some points.

My biggest concern for Alpi is still rebounding. Miami rookie Omer Yurtseven grabbed 12.3 rebounds in 20.3 minutes in the last matches. (meanwhile he was fouled out in 22 minutes against Indiana, Omer and Alpi should adapt SOFT NBA). If he improves rebounding and helps to the team for second chance points it is more important than 3pt shooting. In any case Alpi's 2 point fg% is around 60%. 60% 2 points is more productive than 35% 3pt shooting.

Memo and Yurtseven will be in national team camp. I am sure Alpi will listen, observe and train to improve in both areas.

The point my post was to draw attention to the fact a guy who is 2 inches shy of 7' will lead our rookies in assists, which is uniquely a bold statement for July (or August... whenever I said it) when you factor in that we took a guard @ #2 who we all had such high expectations for.
