Do you think it’s logical to declare a player a bust after 18 games? Yes or no?

No, I do not and it has nothing to do with you using a smaller sample size to make a point.

And it's only a small amount of posters calling him a bust and most of them are trolling.

I asked because a poster was comparing the impact of Green on this team to the impact of Morant on the Grizzlies. Green is here so I hope he pans out, Morant is off to a great start to his career.

Ok then we can continue discussing.

Those are the people I’m addressing so what’s the problem?

Pointing out that JG had 4 games shooting over 40% in the 5 games prior to when he went out in comparison to the 3 games of such shooting in the previous 13 was meant to show his progression. I also pointed out that many rookie guards have started out slowly and experienced similar progression as the season went along. This isn’t uncommon. The fact of the matter is he had more good shooting games in that very short span than he did in all the games prior and that’s why I felt it was relevant. You disagree. That’s fine. Point was he was showing improvement. Small sample or not.

Saying a kid needs to improve his performance or play harder isn't necessarily "hatred" in my book. You may disagree with their opinion but I wouldn't call it "hatred".

I think both sides are too sensitive, I am more indifferent towards the issue.

People go oh why, this and that of something said about Green......the truth will set us free! but it might take couple years.

CHICAGO — Rockets guard Jalen Green is scheduled to make his return from a sprained hamstring Thursday in Indianapolis, a person with knowledge of the team’s plans said.

Green went through a full practice Tuesday and a long workout afterward in a final test of his rehab from the injury last month.

Tuesday marked Green's first workout with the team since he limped off the Toyota Center court Nov. 24 in a game against the Bulls.

You think that is what I'm criticizing? I'm saying that myself about Green. Of course he needs to improve.

That definitely isn't what I'm complaining about. I'm more referring to the hyperbolic rhetoric from some posters calling him a bust or asking for him to be traded or saying he's the "worst player in the NBA".

Awesome. Now how about we play Sengun and Green 30+ minutes and share the floor together as much as possible?

ignore those vocal people, you know who they are, they are just trolls for internet points, they don't care about Green.

I can understand the disappointment though on the other hand. He was suppose to be the most NBA ready of the top 5 picks due to playing with grown man or what not in the G League. But the on court product is showing us he's a long term project that lacks too many things all together from physical to IQ to basketball fundamentals. This is also compounded by Mobley doing so well and well above expectations.

Once people's expectations have leveled, it should be okay.

I am still optimistic about him just because first step like the ones he has are rare to find in any draft, but I also don't think those Kobe comparisons should be curbed for a few years.
