Out of all the possible pics to use as a teaser they use that? It looks like a movie about a paintballer taking his game of paintball too seriously.
Avatar is better than Lord or the Rings, Star Wars (except NH/ ESB), Matrix sequels, all Marvel/ DC movies, and Taxi Driver.
Avatar was a masterpiece, I fear this ridiculous ambitious project might undo how special that first one was. Either Cameron is a genius or another arrogant producer who made this just to prove to himself he could do it. That being said, the stills look amazing. Earth threatening Pandora better not be one of the main arcs or overarching plotline. We’ve seen that. And I wonder how 4 movies will avoid the cliches: main character wanting to go back to his “real” life and threat of planet extinction by alien forces. Hope they found a way to really be revolutionary with this. Some glitch to stay an Avatar, need for a resource on earth to fix a problem on Pandora or earth scientists finding a way for Pandora’s people to live on earth / to live as regular humans on Pandora.
This is the movie version of Winds of Winter. Long reported to be in the works but will likely never be released.
