Absolutely. You seem to forgot how House played in a good team and system. He will be much more useful to a better team than he is on the Rockets. Nowhere near the level - but albeit similar to PJ Tucker. Remember him? You might remember half of Clutchfans claiming he was horrid.
If the Rockets could have gotten a second round pick they would have. It’s just common sense that they put him out there and there were no takers. Stone is kicking ass.
Don't seem to recall kicking ass with his first pick of the draft. Or with Theis. To each his own narrative I guess. Only focus on the stuff that suits. It would be 'common sense' to play our highly talented rookie more, but that doesn't happen. It would be 'common sense' to not give minutes to a player who does not feature into the teams' future, doing so interrupting development of two first round draft picks, but that doesn't happen. Common sense kind of hasn't been this franchises thing for a few years now.
lol garuba , alpi, JC, brooks rotting on the bench while we playing thesis, nwaba, house and feature eric gordon as the franchise player lolololol
Stone is the one who got the talented rookies that need more playing time. They are getting that experience, by the way, and are improving. He may have missed on JG, but the jury is still out as far as I am concerned. Theis will be fine in a backup role if we move Wood or we can move on from him whenever we want. Most Rocket fans think Stone is doing great. Some are just way to impatient and can’t wait to point out any little issue. Very few GM’s would want to field an entire team of 1 and 2 year players. It’s not like Theis is an albatross contract, but you sure seem to think so.
He's worth that given his contract. If he wasn't a knucklehead he would be worth a late one... solid defender and shooter... He's going to be a backup on a contender and likely do something dumb to hurt their chances...
House will get a lot of open looks at the 3 if he signs with another team. He could have been waived simply because Dallas said, yo.
A fair deal for the year 2001. That might wane his interest if he does well in the upcoming seasons but stuck on a bad deal.
You seem to forget that every team knows house would be released if he is not traded. Why would you give a 2nd for him when you could get him for free? You honestly think they didn't call every team and ask if they would give anything for him?
A second from a contender at that. Perhaps Stone wanted to lock up Queen who had been tearing it up in the G League. Maybe he values Queen more than a late second round pick. Obviously he shopped Danuel House but he’s not good and NBA gms aren’t stupid. PJ Tucker…. Lmao stop.
You're 100% right. That must be why there's no trades for players that don't figure into a team's future, they're all waived. Oh. Wait. No. That doesn't actually happen.
