The problem wasn’t trading him, it was the return. Hopkins was NOT Andre Johnson in durability. He was never going to be worth $22+ million as he ages.
That has nothing to do with football. Him doing his job and being one of the best wrs ever is all that concerns me.
I think you missed the point. One of the best ever? He's not even the best in this franchises history. Although I will admit he's a very good WR.
Im no Matt schaub fan but he was better than any qb Hop had until DW4. Hop played with a washed schaub and a bunch of dog crap after that. I think it’s closer than ppl think. And my bad didn’t know you were being sarcastic about OB.
Hopkins only missed 2 games ever before this year. About as dependable as you can get really. Andre missed 10 by the same age in 1 less year.
Hopkins never practiced. That was one of the issues BoB had with him, right or wrong. He was always banged up. He was having injury issues at a younger age than Andre. Andre's were not chronic, Hopkins seems to have those. Players get injured, but there are differences.
