I'm heavy into the metaverse coins. I look at it as a long term hold and will check back on it in a few years. Missed the boat on SAND and MANA but bought big into BLOK when it was less than $.04. Also into a alt network coins like matic and Sol. Ethereum network is complete garbage. Too slow and expensive, so I'm betting new developers will look increasingly to move away from ethereum.

You're behind on ETH. ZK-Rollups allow way faster and cheaper ETH transactions. Think of it as mass transit bullet trains for ETH. ZKSync and Aztec are two of the good ones.

SOL is the next big one, though. If ETH is Silver, SOL is bronze.

Don't ever think 'I missed' any crypto. SAND and MANA still have a ****-ton way to go. I'm considering buying more.

Interesting about ZK-Rollup. I will need to do some research on it. I got killed on gas fees all year on the ERC tokens, so it drove me away from ETH and more towards poly and solana.

Yeah SAND and MANA are still good buys with the dip, but my pockets are empty :(

Sold a bit of matic at its highs last week but want to get in post Christmas sales.

Too many tokens to track. Is CRO worth speculating on?

Took a look. Not super pumped about it when I run it through Token Metrics and Santiment.

Thanks, I heard it's a fork of cosmos just like Binance chain. Seemed like a momentum play rather than token strength.

I feel like both are incredibly overvalued given their actual state and there's a **** ton of investor tokens unlocking in 2022, wouldn't want to hold em in a potential bear.

Late to the game, but anyone know where to start on defi? I finally staked some matic and learned how outrageous gas fees are.

    Why do you have interest?

Yes I want interest and yield.

Mostly a natural evolution of greed but I do understand this is probably one of the more volatile times to get in

I wasn't sure you had a short term thesis going on.

Back to your question, I frequently hear people talk about Celcius for a safer higher yield alternative.

    Serious question-

What are some good resources to learn about altcoins/NFTs? I'm looking for the fundamental basics, not "omg buy this it'll go to the moon." While I am in the big cryptos, I want a better understanding of everything as a whole

Cryptonomicon is probably the best all around source.
