Cade's first 15 games was rough, but his last 6 games he's been killing it. 22.7 points 5.5 reb 4 assists on 47/52/75 shooting.

Agree with the rest of your post.

I agree that Warriors are the biggest surprise. I thought they were going to be solid and maybe borderline contender if Klay comes back healthy. I didn't think Curry would be this good. I remember thinking Harden is definitely clearly a much better player than Curry for carrying Rockets team by himself when Curry had all other superstars. Now I don't know, maybe Curry is a better player.

I'm ready for stoning, kill me now

For some reason, I wasn't high on the Pelicans. They don't seem to have an consistency or strong play, beyond Zion, that much, and he is going through his issues. It's around the corner from a dumpster fire. They almost need to blow this team up, again. Zion, I think is on his way out in some form or fashion.

Not surprised about the Hawks, Sixers, Knicks, Pacers, Mavs, Nuggets, or Blazers, though.

The Sixers are technically down a star player, and Embiid is not 82 game a season type of player. I figured that be all over the place.

The Hawks and Knicks were grossly overrated, last year and ran into a perfect storm. The teams behind them got substantially better (e.g. Cavs, Bulls, Heat, and Wizards). Which pushes both teams to about 7th to 10th range, that's about what their respective talent levels are.

Pacers and Celtics had potential, but something is off about their team chemistry. I knew it would manifest early. Marcus Smart calling out their two stars was not a good sign, while the Pacers have trade rumors and talks of blowing the roster up.

    Surprises:
The "new" Bulls -- Ball, Caruso, and Derozan
    Dejounte Murray
    Lugentz Dort
    Tyrese Maxey

    Disappointments:
    RJ Barrett
    AD
    James Harden (briefly)
    Luka Doncic
    Cade Cunningham
    MPJ

The Nuggets being down Murray and MPJ
