I'm sitting here watching this Phoenix/LA game (actually about to switch it off because I think I've had about enough), and I'm wondering how a team can come out this inept in a do-or-die playoff game. They've got more turnovers than FG's in the first half and have set a record for the fewest points scored in the first (any?) half of a game. Truly sad. All I can say is I can't wait for that LA/Portland matchup. It should be a good one if their playoff series are any indication.

Its the new-and-improved athlete syndrom, D0D.
They have these huge contracts, their families are taken care of. The prestige of winning is lost on today's athletes. Its all about the size of your contract nowadays. Hell, with all of the money these guys make, they can go out and buy a championship trophy.

When your starters shoot 10-52 from the field, you know you're in for a world of hurt....
