The Suns‘ best players were Barkley, Nash, Amar'e, Marion, Kevin Johnson, Majerle, Booker, old Paul. Nice but not Olajuwon, Moses, Elvin Hayes, Calvin Murphy and Harden. Even a Drexler would get to them.

Yeah, the Suns prove the the theory that most contending teams are built off of one at most two top 5 picks. Ayton is that pick (and they don't even want to pay him the max...) and booker was a mid first rounder that panned out...CP3 a trade acquisition. Suns sucking for all those years is nothing to be proud of.
Nah, Suns got CP3 from OKC but actually they're more the beneficiary of Durant and Harden going East, Denver's core crumbling like a cracker, Luka weighing 364 pounds, and Russ coming West. They sucked at the tank, they ended up with Ayton, Josh Jackson and Dragan Bender and Marquise Chriss!
