That's a great chart. Does anyone else notice that Sengun has more fouls than anyone else in the draft class? That's not a close race either. I guess that will click for him at some point. Drawing fouls = good. Committing fouls? Not so great.
Thank you that's very kind! He has been even better that I imagined! Now that I've had more time to process, the stars really aligned for us to make this pick. If he was taller, had a longer wingspan, was quicker, was a better jumper, played in college, or any combination of these things, we would have no chance of drafting him. Right now one of the last inefficiencies in the draft is a non-athletic young player with high IQ who dominates a good professional league.
Well, if he was all that, we would have drafted him with the #2 pick, or we could get Cade in case Detroit was that smart.
That’s quite funny because I was called an elitist on page 2 of this thread for advocating to draft him.
I thought for sure that he wouldn't fall past the Spurs or Warriors on draft night. Thank God neither of them took him
I don’t even want to think about how much hype he’d have if he was setting screens for Steph Curry. Undoubtedly, he would have gotten to his record quicker. And what would the Warriors do if they had to play Draymond Green and Sengun together? Here’s what would happen: they’d win and they’d be itching for the day when Sengun could absorb more reps and frustrated that he only had the conditioning of a 19-year old.
