Case for Trading Up to get Alperen Sengun

We saw that last night. No, Sengun didn't start, and I'd be shocked if he starts anytime soon, but the players on the court in the 4th showed us exactly what you are wishing for, what so many of us are wishing for, served up on a platter. We might lose the next game badly, who knows, but what we saw in the 4th against a good Atlanta team, struggling with their own issues, was an eye opener. The icing on the cake easily being DJ's best game as a Rocket, and Eric having the most fun he's had in a long time. What a trip.

Even if Jalen doesn't live up to his potential (I really think Jalen is going to be a good player), we already won the draft by getting Sengun. We got our own Jokic + Murray combo. Add another top 3 pick next year and we got ourself a squad.

They still traded to get Sengun…. I was a bit ambitious no doubt, but clearly I had the right idea about trading up for Sengun because I recognized his talent.
