Thoughts on Ryan Hollins as commentator so far?

Honestly I really like Hollins as he gets more comfortable. He's a mixture of Bull & Calvin with his outburst lol. The energy of the game is always up with him. Craig is the one that needs to loosen up

Hollins watches the game as a real fan, he genuinely seems excited and talks about interesting subjects during the games when we're getting blown out.

I like him a lot so far and he's biased but not to the extend of our old crew.

 

They're still around in some form. But that was the joke :

 

Hollins getting better. Now that CA has stopped his Rockets deep cuts, it's been much better. We all know Hollins knows nothing about Rockets lore, lol

He’s starting to grow on me. It certainly helps that we are now beginning to look like a functioning NBA team.

I think all the losing early on kind of created a negative environment about everything. And I think some of that vented frustration was taken on Hollins unfairly.

 

Bruh when he calls Mad Max “The legend!!” Lol

 

He's grown on me, I like him a lot. I enjoy his energy and enthusiasm.

 

He and Craig are finally starting to sound like a team.

I like his enthusiasm, as it gets me even more excited to watch the games..

Everytime Sengun made some highlight play... ' No he didn't, NO HE DIDN'T!"

 

He's a smart man!! He knows he needs to hype our future stars to ensure longevity in his job LOL.

 

He's definitely better than he was at the beginning of the season.

I like that he understands that when Sengun is in the game the ball needs to go through him.

He also calls out when the ball doesn't move enough on an offensive possession.

I won't go as far as to say I really like him but he's a decent replacement for Bullard.

 

He is good. They are good partners with Craig and they make the game more fun. You can easily see this when you look at the presenters of some other teams in the league. Even when Rockets games go bad, they try to entertain people.

 

I don't ever want to hear him say " wrastlin' " or talk about UCLA again.

 

Meh and a half. Not at all pleased.

 

He has more enthusiasm about the rockets than half this board combined and I love it

 

Even worse than advertised. He routinely tramples Ackerman, mispronounces half of the things he says, and says things that don't make a lot of sense. All of these things I could deal with, when the color commentator was actually a former Rocket.

 

good insight as well. He shined light in Josh Christopher’s work ethic when he said that Christopher has been working hard at all the shooting drills he does after games to be in position to succeed and get more playing time.
