    It doesn't make a difference. I didn't regularly watch either of them and never made it through a whole episode. So to me, I don't care at all. Making money doing crap that doesn't matter, isn't a sign of success to me. If it is to you or them, then that's great for you guys.

    You must understand fewer Chappelle jokes than I do. He's making jokes that involve people but the jokes don't revolve around the boring and pointless soap opera crap.

    You’re trying to point out that nobody watches these shows because you don’t
    That’s not reality
    These shows are extremely popular hence the large salary and prime time slots they occupy

    people in America know who lemon, Cooper, Tucker etc are
    They have pressed the channel button on the remote

    on top of that you have people who are obsessed posting non stop clips or topics on these personalities

    I don’t need to like BTS to know they are popular, everyone talks about them

    Nope. I'm pointing out that whether or not other people watch them isn't very important to me. I'm also pointing out that any soap opera crap about their personal lives is even less important.

    Chappelle did a special with a title relating to an issue of social justice, waxed profusely about social justice in the special and mentioned Don Lemon in reference to the social justice issue.

    Chappelle was focused on social justice and issues with more relevance.

    I get why it made news. I simply said that it's sad that it did make news. A brother not being professional in his high profile job in order to help his brother who is an elected official is news. IMHO that is worth covering. The side items and personal soap opera stuff is irrelevant.

    how else are you going to have people watch a show? you have to give them content

    look at ESPN, Stephen A Smith has to drag his fake Knicks fandom for at least 10 minutes, his show is 30 minutes

    It is irrelevant and lots of people watch irrelevant crap. That's on them. I don't worry about that stuff. You and millions of other people are free to follow and pay attention to irrelevant stuff. Not a problem. Enjoy yourself.

    I don’t watch soccer, but I understand that people watch it, a whole bunch of them
