exactly. I thought DJ was a pure PG, it was him paired with Sengun that was making him look good because they use intelligence to overcome their other deficiencies.. DJ and Wood were never on the same page and dont work, because let's be honest, Wood is kind of stupid.

It will be a good day when we ship Wood for picks so we can stop pretending he's an all star.

The org needs to smarten up. Playing Theis just lowers his trade value. Silas can't be playing Theis thinking we're going to win.

    BRING OUT THE TANKS!

Really need to trade the vets so the younglings would develop more. KMJ has been inconsistent. Miss his blocking presence.

Snipa and Sengun. Damn excited with what they can do more as the years go by.

I dont think we should trade wood, we should just realize this dude is not the guy. He can be dangerous if he is the 2nd or third player. he is just too dumb and soft to be the guy..

Still not over it. Instead of turning Aquaman into their Theiss by going with their usual line up, the rox gave aquaman a perfect match up by starting Theiss. Yet some dorks think Houston was playing well because a rookie they never liked was missing from the rotation. Nope. Play dumb line ups, win dumb prizes simple as that.
    The positive:
Anfernee with another highlight filled game in the post. He can score on any center. The Woodgun pairing worked so maybe coach goes back to it 20 games from now. Happy Festivus.

That’s why I felt like Christopher should have been in the starting lineup while keeping Augustin with Sengun because they already have the chemistry down.

I would agree, if he would actually play like a 2nd or 3rd option, but he won't. He's so low IQ he will always iso and try to get his. He legitimately thinks he's Anthony Davis. I would sacrifice his scoring if it meant could play the rotations we want.

Tough game. Memphis is a really good team, especially defensively.

Tate did not play well. I felt he couldn't get to his move or bully his defenders the way he's accustomed to, and he just never adjusted or found a way to be productive. He was a -20 on the court today, and it showed.

DJ Augustin was abysmal. Yes, the two big lineup to start the game was bad, but part of that bad was Augustin turning it over early in the game multiple times. What was he doing? It was ridiculous. And on defense he was a liability all night. The difference in defensive effort between him and Christopher is palpable.

I wish at times Silas would stick with the hot hand. The lineup of Christopher, KJ, Brooks, and Sengun was doing really well, even against Memphis starters. Why pull them out? Why sit KJ for Tate? Or bring Wood in with Sengun at the same time when Wood doesn't space the floor well?

Wood ended tonight with a good stat line, but on the court his production was not great I didn't think. Too many missed free throws in crucial moments (50% when you get to the line 14 TIMES is not cutting it). He's by far our worst FT shooter on the team. On the boards he just wasn't fighting enough at the start of the game, and a lot of the offensive rebounds were him not boxing out and expecting to use height/athleticism to grab a board vs. putting his body on a man and boxing out. He played 37 mins (the most of any player) and had the ball all the time, but only ended the game with 3 assists. He has got to get better at not forcing shots, finding open shooters, and moving without the ball.

Overall, not mad at the outcome. Super happy that these tough games are actually due to the stellar play of our young guys. Christopher, Brooks, Sengun, etc. That's the future of this team. Not Augustin, Theis, or, increasingly, even Wood.

Augustin is a journeyman backup for a reason.

And he is useless on a switch defense.
