7'2" 16 YO Frenchman. He's a freak of nature for now (he's built like a praying mantis), who knows where he goes, but he's got skills and is fun to watch.

It’s crazy how good nba players are. Rudy has decent handles, but would be ripped in a second if he tried any of those moves in the NBA.

Agree. But the kid is only a teenager.

Needs to really commit to the weights. Not seeing any real functional strength right now.

Love watching this guy play in the Euroleague. Could be a Giannis/Gobert hybrid with a 3PT shot.

Did you see the first step and drive to dunk against a much smaller player? Geez, this guy has generational potential.

But that's why they play the games, we'll see what he does next year.

Now THIS is the closest I've seen to Durant.

That quickness on offense, amazing. Might be a guy worth tanking for next year even if we're decent.

He's also a legit 7'2 without shoes. Made Holmgren (who's 2 years older) look small in the youth world championship this summer.

I want Holmgren in '22 and Wembanyama in '23. Opponents will score 0 paint points in '24

He's not playing much, but he's playing against grown men in the best league in the world outside of the NBA. He just turned 18 and he doesn't yet have the body to bang against the really physical big men in the Euroleague. I think this might come very handy for him in the future though once he enters the NBA, he'll be a much more seasoned rookie than the guys who come from the NCAA. It's one thing guarding future accountants, and it's another thing trying to guard guys like Mirotic, or even DMo in the post.

Grown ass men vs future accountants is giving me deja vu.

Could have sworn that was same argument for drafting Jalen Green.
