"Bigman" is right in saying Steve doesn't care about his own stats. Contrary to what people said when we acquired him, Steve has proven to be a consummate play maker who thinks pass first, shoot second. The key thing, though, is that he makes that decision in a split second. Hesitation is the worst enemy of an NBA guard (see Shandon Anderson). If you watched a high percentage of last season's games, you noticed that Steve did not look to shoot out of a half court set AT ALL in the first quarter. He passed and tried to get everyone else involved first. If guys weren't hitting their open shots, THEN Steve began to score. Steve will still get 15-20 points per game. The difference is that his assists will go up and he'll have to force it a lot less. ------------------ http://www.TheRocketGuy.com "You try to improve and do better.
