Okay, this synopsis will be short.

Considering that Karl Malone has been instrumental in helping to end several careers by causing injuries and/or aiding in the physical decline of others... it is poetic justice that his injuries are seeming to play a big role in his own strain of the Lakers team not succeeding thus far in the series vs. the Pistons.

Here's to the full poem being written. ;)

    Go Pistons!

We do realize that had there been a hard foul on the last regulation play in game 2... it would be a sweep, right?

But that's Karl's style of play.

And what did that style get him?

I'd rather he lost completely healthy. But, I guess I'll take what I can get.

After the Rockets lost, I didn't care who won, as long as Malone didn't get a ring. It looks like the basketball gods are getting back at Malone for years of dirty and dangerous play.

A much better lingering hell than just slipping off into retirement. Couldn't happen to a more deserving waste of carbon molecules.
