Got 4 billion dollars to make an offer? Texans are currently valued at 3.8 billion. Only a handful of people that can afford to buy existing NFL franchises these days.
It’s almost as if you have no real world experience whatsoever. No one w an EVP title is “irrelevant.” This may shock you but people w those kind of titles typically exert a tremendous amount of influence on an organization, both directly and indirectly. Mr. Scarface has to be some sort of anagram for Cal McNair, I’m sure of it.
https://texanswire.usatoday.com/202...asterby-negotiated-zach-cunningham-extension/ “I think the way myself and [executive vice president of football operations] Jack (Easterby) and [director of football administration] Kevin Krajcovic and [chairman and CEO] Cal (McNair) think about this is, if a guy is playing well and is a good person and a really good person in the community, you’re going to do whatever you can to try to make that guy a part of your team for a long time,” O’Brien told reporters on Aug. 31. “A long time based on you agreeing with their representation on what the term is and all those different things.” According to O’Brien, Easterby handled much of the negotiations with Cunningham’s representation at Athletes First led by Kyle McCarthy. “Really, to be very, very honest with you, Jack Easterby did a lot of this negotiation,” said O’Brien.
As cringe as it is to acknowledge this, it's also refreshing to see Caserio straight up dumpster an Easterby deal so quickly. This proves that the GM is actually in charge and not that stupid huckster anymore. That's progress.
Nice thought but the Texans aren't a publicly traded company so there is no way to acquire a 51% share.
https://texanswire.usatoday.com/202...asterby-negotiated-zach-cunningham-extension/ Thoughts? If this religious charlatan could fool scarface into defending his ass poor McNair never stood a chance
He is just as much to blame as BOB for the dumb trades and signings. He was just slick enough to throw BOB under the bus to save his ass then when the GM search was going on he pulled another slick one and convinced Cal to hire the one dude who wouldn't want him fired before he took the job.
Easterby did this **** contract, just like a few others. There are multiple quotes to prove it. You should just stop defending this stuff at this point and hope it gets better. Walk away, shut up, come back with new thoughts like the rest of us right around draft time.
**** You. What Easterby and O'Brien did as their GM tandem is not relevant to what Caserio is doing, except for the contracts themselves. Easterby is has Cal's nuts and is not going to be fired until Cal gets his nuts back.
Very eloquent, as usual. Welcome to ~3 years ago, which of course has no bearing at all on the current or future state of the team according to you, the expert of positivity. (I left out the multiple references to your and Cal's and Easterby's nuts, that's obviously your thing) Caserio just might be the guy to turn this around, hopefully he gets some draft and cap capital to try, and hopefully he can hire a proper coach and coordinators. It is comical though, that you think anyone should listen to your prognostications or advice when it comes to the Texans.
Just don't engage, bro. There's a handful of people on this BBS who don't deserve the time of day. This is one them.
