I am in the same boat, I never had a flu shot........but that`s because I am deathly afraid of needles, it took me a few months but I finally got the J&J this summer, one and done and no issues and to be honest it didn't even hurt :D my entire family is vaxed so that played into it also, I didn't want to get anyone sick, plus I wanted to travel.

I see where you're coming from, but to be fair, Trump was permanently de-platformed from pretty much everything back in January (when vaccines were just starting to become more available to the public), so sharing information publicly by him was not as immediately viewable as it used to be, nor is finding anything he says in public that easy to find either.

He hasn't announced he's running in 2024, so right now, Trump is just a guy - and neither Trump supporters nor anti-Trump people should really care very much what Trump is saying or doing.

Again, it's about people making their own decisions and not blindly following the advice or actions of one political figure or another. A smart person doesn't need Trump, or Biden, or LeBron James, or whoever else to suggest they do something.

Don't be naive? Follow your own advice and stop posting naive questions.

If your employer mandates that you get a covid booster, you get the booster or move on.

Pretty simple for me as Non American, North American.

I got my first shot ComirNaty a week ago. Moderate guy who is not heavily into activism or politics.

    1. Made sure my surroundings were safe, the district I was living.
    2. Restrict the numbers of people I have contact with to under 5 to 8.
Heavy contact only with my parents, my daughter, SO, and 1 or 2 friends
    3. Work from home.
    4. Washing hands, FFP2, educate myself, keep myself informed.
    5. Contra any protests, QAnon stuff, false info that are not based on Science

I was waiting for the Inactivated one, I am sure they would have gone thru, now I was forced to get it prior to it. No problem with it either.

Pretty chill about the subject, I am not forcing myself onto the topic.

I know someone who is in the same level of diet and discipline as a Tom Brady and into the yoga and holistic life . They’ve been around covid people and never got sick.
The health situation of a person does matter no matter what the lazy fat people tell you

We continue to use public $$$ to indulge the unvaxxed for their recklessness.

At what point do real Americans say enough?

Here’s my story, I believe in the vaccine (got the moderna in the summer..ps the second shot was a tad rough on side effects but only was 2.5 days in duration) but I will respect others that decide not to…maybe it’s religious or they went to the doctor and their doctor determined they have natural immunity but fir the vast majority of people …I feel the vaccine is a smart choice .

My wife’s parents had COVID , survived thankfully no problems. My daughter got it prolly working at Walmart while working thru school. No problems thankfully …Despite living at home we all tested negative : me, wife and other daughter..(at the time I wasn’t vaxxed)

masks, I believe in mainly because people in general are gross and there is a side benefit, I normally get the flu every Fall. Now that I wear masks typically around large gatherings (not always but usually) or on planes (mandated) …I have NOT gotten any respiratory illness in two years. Maybe coincidence but every Fall season going forward, I may wear masks to help fight respiratory contagion

as far as the booster, do I really need it? I’m just not sure tbh ..

I still can't believe anyone supports Trump.

    1. Convicted of money laundering twice through his casinos
    2. Sued 2 times for having sex with a 13 year old girl with Epstein
    3. Convicted of running a fake university - had to pay 20m fine
    4. Convicted of fraud using a children's charity as a personal bank - can't have a charity in NY anymore.
    5. Lying about bone spurs to avoid the draft.
    6. Lying about sex with a p*rn star 2 weeks after his wife gave birth

And on and on and on.....how can anyone support a man who lacks any integrity at all?

Not really. The loud unproud Trumpist antivaxxers aren't real Americans.

They literally hate their country (i mean the US, not Russia, which they LOVE)

Read the Gettysburg address. With charity towards all and malice towards none...

That's as real American as it gets. The MAGA turds/mainstream GOP is the literal opposite of this.

Funny, when I said I thought LEOs did a good job handling the capital riot certain posters said they wish that LEOs had started opening fire on the rioters for being traitors - made me think of Lincoln and how he handled traitors. We've got some psychopathic idiots in here.

Protection from being a little sleepy for a couple hours? Thats hardly rational

I agree about the part of them only being concerned with themselves, thats just the entitled selfishness of Americanism
