Christian Wood expected to get "significant trade interest"

Im not surprised really. My point was that its way too convenient to throw around +/- in discussions without actually breaking down each game and how poorly supporting players played. Now Im well aware just how bad Green has been in that regard as well - way worse than Sengun, but like you mentioned they are rookies. Green being showcased on a bad team, with a bad starting play style and philosophy and many times put into tough spots in the shooting game with waning shot clocks and a hot potato effect where he would have to put up bad shots just to beat the clock. He has shown that he can be a good shooter and with the ability to penetrate without congestion and working into a rhythm I think he will start to live up to the grandiose expectations.

Im looking forward to seeing Green in the new revamped play style. It should continue to be fun basketball.

How many games was our two center starting lineup a positive +-?

To not recognize that fatal flaw in our rotation is totally baffling. Think it was a coincidence that KPJ started playing better during the streak with Wood at C too?

You say you don’t miss games, so for sure you saw the improvements that Green was making, specifically when we started shifting Theis out of the lineup. Anything else is willful ignorance.

 

I sincerely believe Green would benefit coming off the bench vs opposing 2nd units.

He could be more ball dominant e.g. Eric Gordon.

And playing with Sengun, who has such high IQ, would improve his game as well as develop the future dynamic duo of the Rockets.

Rockets win streak starting 5 stays intact.

Win-win for everyone.

 

I agree with the premise, but I'd like to see Sengun in the starting lineup WITH Green -- but alas the very premise of the the thread gets in the way. Im fine with Jalen coming off the bench when he resumes play. Cream will ALWAYS rise to the top.

 

Sengun and Green need to run the bench unit.
