He could not SHOOT this summer, literally his shot was horrible, but he has clearly worked on it.....so smooth.. Loving him now....hard work......works! DD
He balled out tonight. Perfect from the field, hit all his threes, played both ends. He was given daylight and bum rushed the opportunity. For one game what more can you ask? Let's see if he can be consistent, which is big for young players.
The fact that JC had his best game against his idol, on his birthday, in front of the liveliest home crowd since the home opener says a lot about his heart! Here’s somebody who’s not afraid of a big moment! How could you not love a young fella like this? Not only does he come across as super likeable in interviews, he also destroyed the Brooklyn Nets with a smile on his face! Our future is looking better and better
Another reason why Gordon should be traded, you can't play him, KPJ, and Green all at the same time along with Brooks. Same goes for Augustin. FREE JAYGUP
You can tell JC worked his ass off to get to where he is now and he's only doing even more. TBH, when I first saw him I saw him as a goofy kid who doesn't take the game seriously but he has proven me wrong completely. He didn't take the G-League as a demotion, he studies the game and is a great team mate on and off the court.
JC has got more dog in him than our Number 2 overall pick. Maaan I wish we would’ve taken Mobley! But Ah well! Go Rockets!
Green has the tools and the drive he will get better! JC gives me Kyle Lowry vibes. He is a gamer and wants to win.
Lol let's not overreact to one game. 7/7 is more a fluke than anything. He can just as easily go 0/7 next game. Let's see what he does with consistent minutes.
We'll never find out if he's not given them. Christopher always intrigued me, and while most posters weren't too enthused with the pick, I believe than when you're as bad as the Rockets were/are, you go for the highest upside picks possible. Christopher had eh production on sub-par efficency, but he had an NBA ready first step and athleticism. If he pans out, he's a starting 2 guard in the league. He's going to be maddingly inefficent and inconsistent, but he just turned 20, and unless the team does something utterly self destructive like buying at the deadline to make the play-in game, he should get all the minutes he needs. He's like KPJ but with a good attitude coming into the league.
He should be taking the majority of House’s minutes. Kid has potential to be one of the most solid two way players in this league. He’s strong and has quick feet.
I really see JC in a Kyle Lowry mold. He has a great future as a combo guard who can play 1 or 2. He is a physical 6'3 but he is still 6'3.
