when pressed by reporters that a number of them had suffered traumatic brain injuries, Trump countered "I heard they had headache"

the military leaders at the base felt pressure to downplay their growing injuries to avoid undercutting then-President Trump's initial public comments.
altho these 39 injured qualify for purple heart award, they were discouraged from submitting such a request
