This is just something I can’t understand. Dude went from a potential star to being released. Get something for him at least

    Wow.

This franchise is nuts. I can't believe this ****ing front office waives one of the top tackle machines in the NFL and now he'll be going to a Super Bowl contender.

Cal, just sell the damn team *******!

    He's always sucked.

Getting a bunch of tackles five yards down field doesn't mean you're a good lb. Also if Cunningham covers a te, RB with his new team it will be the first time.

Maybe so, but I still think he had value just on his reputation alone.

He went from potential star to being bad. He looked very lacking compared to Kirksey, Greenard and Grugier-Hill on this team. Not surprised

Nobody wants to play for this **** team.

So what are they going to do when do the new rookies inevitably start acting up next season? Are they just going to cut any good player doesn’t fit the “culture?”

Why is david Johnson still with the Texans?

Is that a scheme or coaching issue?

This front office is either brilliant beyond our understanding, or so utterly stupid beyond comprehension. There is no in between.

He’s good, he’s just mentally checked out, just like most Texans player. I heard yesterday on 610 that they have to pretty much beg laremy tunsil just to practice.

Players like kirksey, greenard and hill are either rookies or on one year contracts. They have incentive to play hard.

Maybe a little of both but Zach didn’t cover well and his tackling started to wane. It seems a combination of scheme that he couldn’t fit into, coaching perhaps and definitely effort and attitude on his part

It is a QUIT issue. And unlike McGrady, Pippen, and company... I don't blame them.

agreed. I think he's a decent LB and although he never turned that corner to become upper echelon, I do think it's still possible in a good situation, which is not the texans right now for various reasons.

I was psyched about him 3 years ago, then last year out of nowhere he begins doing something he hadn't done, something that's looked down on all levels, tackling near the shoulders. He wanted a trade going into this season so he just did whatever it took to get out the sh**storm this franchise has become.
Oddly enough, all the players I wanted them to waive or trade when this thread started the last week of the season last year are now all gone. Except 2 characters, David and Jack who don't add a single thing except remind the fans that Cal doesn't give an f'.

What a disaster of a franchise. Wouldn't be surprised if Cunningham missed meetings on purpose to get the **** outta here. I wouldn't blame him

He is from Nashville and went to the overprice university called Vanderbilt ,…I’m almost willing to guarantee he comes to the Titans and gets a look from them. Titans are cooling off and need some looks at LB
