A good wing player (6'7 to 6'9) with a long wingspan

Honestly if we pick Banchero I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on the other Duke players with later picks assuming BPA, Williams and Moore.

That rim protection might be on the bench then, because Sengun is going to arrive Sensoon, and surely Silas can’t be slow enough to play two Centers again.

You go for BPA. To answer the question though, if the Rockets were to ever make the playoffs again teams will most likely try to pull Sengun away from the rim and make him defend in space. And on offense, you can actually run the show through Sengun.

So a high level rim protector and shooter who doesn’t need the ball to make an impact is the best fit.

Like OKC? They drafted three ball dominant players and made it to the finals - and I would argue would have won a couple of championships at least, if they would have kept their core together.

And if we have too many ball dominant players, we can always trade one away and get a nice return (if they are that good).

Of course it all doesn't matter, if the players we draft arent actually good, but I wouldn't worry too much about fit. If that was our concern, we would need to look for the best passing and defending PG...

Wow, I expected way more from Holmgren with the hype he gets here. I must've missed his defensive genius when dudes half his height were pushing him around to get layups. Banchero clearly looked by far the better player.

    If's, and's or but's ...

But would not be sad if we miss out on both Chet or Paolo.

    Jabari Smith is intriguing.

It doesn't really matter. Whoever we pick we should package with Sengun and trade for more draft picks.

You gotta understand that all these names are too old to fit the timeline of our true future franchise player - little Timmy Smith, who's now in 4th grade and will be the next Kobe/Lebron/Jesus combo, but with better wingspan.

A very good 3&D guy or PG who can pass and shoot. You need somebody to stretch the floor.

I just hope Banchero doesn't go to OKC. I don't want to play against that dude 4x a year.

Thread should be Banchero, Chet, and Jabari plus Sengun…. Looking like a strong top 3 of big men.

Unless Green gets healthy quickly and stays healthy, the Rockets are unlikely to be bad enough for a top pick.
