But they do have new variant vaccines that are not being used. Are you unaware of natural or herd immunity?
That's typically not the direction it goes though. They almost always mutate to less deadly, more contagious variants. Evolution tends to work in the direction of what is best for the organism to survive and multiply, a virus that kills their host dies with that host and can't spread quite as well. Certainly it can happen, but they are fairly rare outliers.
Well, that's artificially engineering viruses to be more deadly, the entire reason why we're dealing with this BS right now. They force things in a laboratory environment that likely wouldn't happen in nature for research purposes. You can force evolution to happen that wouldn't naturally happen.....for example, wolves would have never evolved into pugs naturally. We did that. We created those adorable abominations.
