You do realize that Dallas with Silas barely made the playoffs right?

For all their offense, they were not that great a team.

And there is no one, as in NOBODY, on this Rockets team that plays like Luka.

    Get a grip.

And adding Theis to starting 5 requires taking out WHO????

    KPJ ... Ego ... Tate ... MATHEWS????

We got out rebounded by the Bucks right before the playoffs by 30 rebounds in the
bubble in Orlando and we won. Bucks 60 to 30 Rockets in rebounds

I've got news for you.....we don't have Harden anymore to carry our weak
a$$ rebounding team. We have to do it by committee. Or we will lose
    every game.

Rockets got out rebounded by Pelicans tonight.

AND STILL WON BY DOUBLE DIGITS!

Its not horseshit. What made it ineffective is that both Theis and Tate are not great three point shooters which allowed the defense to pack the paint and dared those two guys to shoot. You add in streaky KPJ and Green, and it was just easy to defend the line up.

I don't know if Green had issues do to spacing, I would suspect yes, since it's easier to guard players in the perimeter when you know they can't get into the paint. He was playing pretty dam good before going down with the injury so I can't wait til he comes back and plays in the more open system we have.

Theis/Wood/Tate is not a good line up man. Sure they won tonight, but overall, terrible line up.

There, that's what it was Green and Porter. Add Mathews and Brooks to go along with
Eric Gordon shooting over 40% from 3 and you get instant space. Just add water.

Ergo, Horse s*** of the Theis and Sengun don't create "enough" space.

We scored 118 points with two bigs playing at the same time tonight.
It was always a cop out scapegoating of Theis.

We are now over .500 at home and really starting to play good basketball on our own home court

I get that, and I'm always happy when the Rockets win, but I'm worried about the future and wondering whether the organization has an actual plan in place.

    I'm just talking about Theis.

Sengun lineups shouldn't be as affected, however, there is poor chemistry when Wood/Sengun are used together. We've seen it two games in a row now.

Pelicans got almost every long rebound and almost all their missed jumpers were long rebounds … was probably the most long rebounds I’ve ever seen in a nba game lol

How many times do folks have to watch EG and House turnover the ball in late game situations with KPJ and Green out… Tate is okay with handles but they just trap him when he crosses half court …

Simmons would unlock this offense even more and defense would be deadly

He's very good at tapping those rebounds out to his team. He outjumped and out lengthed Sengun and Wood and Theis

Unlock my ass, Simmons doesn't even run the offense in the half court because his man just sags all the way into the lane. Most of the time he just sits at the dunker spot in Philadelphia. Having him on the floor with Wood is like two bigs which we know won't work.

Playing Simmons, Tate and Wood together would **** up spacing like we have never seen before.

Before the game CBSsports put out a tidbit that Silas and the Rockets will
play Wood/Sengun more. Expect soon in starting lineups.

I've covered all this last night:
Wood shot 38.0% from 3 in the first 9 games (as PF)

then B*tched and cried after Denver game

Wood shot 19.4% from 3 in the next 8 games (as PF)

    then

Wood shot 47.4% from 3 in the last 5 games (as center) [prior to tonight]
    ______________
So I say Wood was dogging it and shooting poorly to make the switch
and remove Theis......or get Silas fired. Because I don't believe Wood
is that bad a shooter to shoot 19% from 3 (turns it on and off like a switch).

You can buy it and others....but I don't.

Therefore the stats you provide such as lineups is horse s***

Had Wood been trying like tonight the entire season, we (the Rockets)
may be at 12 wins by now. Just my opinion.

How do we not trade wood and eg after this game? What are they waiting for? The playin? I'd rather have picks and frps and assets to build with green and sengun

Keeping wood and eg for a playin is soooo short sighted. Tells me tilman is okay with mediocrity.
