I saw your "long game" reply above. China released a virus in their cities to kill off their elderly, then decided to lock down like a madman, created two hospitals out of thin air in 10 days, and pretty much vaccinated every adult they can at record speed and have controlled the spread much better than most countries. They sure did forget about that plan to rid themselves of those deadweight elderly.
Covid has shown countries that they actually need to become LESS dependent on China exports. I still fail to see motive in the grand right wing conspiracy that China and the Dems colluded to create a super bug to infect the world and kill millions. What “they” do not want Republican and Dem voters to unite on is the con from the billionaire class to enrich themselves off of our backs. They have the media and one party bought off to focus on culture wars to divide us and not focus on the grift. They have half of the country literally voting for trickle down economics not because they believe in it but because they identify with that side’s culture wars and identity politics. I actually think Dem and Rep voters are already United that China is bad. Nobody is arguing that anymore and really just speaks to someone who would post this crap that they are just trying to stir up a conspiracy theory that Dems are secret Chinese communist agents ala McCarthyism.
Boy China is run by a bunch of doofuses. Why isn’t they release the disease through their many agents stationed in every major city across the world, plus Wuhan? Then you can theoretically “cull their herd” (even though they didn’t), attackother countries and cause global collapse, cast doubt on the origins of the virus instead of having the world mad at you. @dachuda86 @Gioan Baotixita / General - please address this enormous hole in what you pass off as logic?
So to get rid of the elderly they released it in a city that doesn't particularly have a large elderly population but also has some a lot of medical facilities that they augmented by building new wards in a week. They so wanted to cull the population that they shut down all travel and literally locked people inside their homes and deployed drones to catch people who broke containment. They took measures to fight, the disease they deliberately engineered and released, that no other country did or could take. HOW DEEP DOES THIS RABBIT HOLE GO! Maybe it's that Xi Jinping coming from X'ian hated the Wuhan Football team so really wanted to just take down Wuhan's drive to the championship! There's plenty of reasons to dislike and distrust the CCP. This just makes no sense at all.
Everyone thinks China is bad and there is a danger in that. Put the right person at the helm of a powerful nation that is itching to take us to war with public support and voila, we are in one. The idea from the OP here actually helps China by telling the world that China is a victim of conspiracy theories, taking focus away from all the human rights abuses and harmful lax standards.
No one wins in a hot war with China I believe everyone knows that. I see a cold war coming though and rightfully so. They steal our intellectual property, showing propaganda that depict an actual war with the US, released a pandemic on the world whether intentional or not, abusing its minority and throwing them into prison/reeducation camps, illegal organ harvesting, interfering in democracies around the world by trying to censor certain aspects of our free society, and the list goes on and on and on.
ketchup packets and in doing research for this response, I ran across this incredibly helpful guide to Chinese condiment packets: https://www.chinacityop.com/chinese...condiment-packets-how-long-are-they-goid.html you're welcome
I agree with everything accept Republican voters of all classes like trickle down econmics in terms of low taxes. They are just anti government
The OP doesn't and there are people like him. The danger isn't that someone in power decided to go to war, but that they make small incremental provocative military moves (be it for legitimate reasons or political) that escalate and before you know it, you are at the cusp of military actions. With so much anti-China and quite a bit of nationalism (on both sides), it could just blow up. I'm not saying it's a high chance - I think it's small, but it's not super low due to 'everyone dislikes China'.
Trumps central appeal other than racism is populism at its core (the system is rigged for the working man, a dictator like me will fight fire with fire and reset the playing field). There are some… a decreasingly small number) that like what people like Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan preach but they are by far the monitory. The core voters that put Trump in office and will double down to do it again want him to blow up the system that sucks the life out of the working class and poor people (trickle down economics is at its core of this system). He has to focus on all the cultural identity wars as a way of distraction.
Republican voters pre date Trump. Their issue across class is less government. That has been the political debate less government vs more since before the country was as a country Edit: I used to say the rich use social issues to round up the vote and it's true but less government is still a big issue with middle class Republicans. Freedom which comes with less government and taxes is a bigger issue than the social issues
@dobro1229 Trump is more entertaining than the Paul Ryan types. Democrats have to be smarter. It was clear he had a shot in 2016 because debating the Rubio's and Cruz's he is just more appealing personality wise. Democrats need to get off this idea he rounded up the racists. That rise in white nationalist terrorism didn't happen. Now his rhetoric against Hispanics is very racist but the anti China Hispanic immigration talk is just as much about economics When you go to construction sites in Texas it's Hispanics and whites and they are getting along trying to get projects completed thinking about money
