    What a season. I had very little expectation coming into this season. Certainly wouldn’t have predicted 12 wins.

    I feel as if they are in good hands with Coach Aranda. That was a very satisfying win and the defense was as good as I’ve experienced as a fan. For any team that I’ve been for any way.

    Baylor was NOT READY for an SEC defense (mid-tier one at that).

    But.

    Ole Miss was NOT READY for a really good Baylor defense.

    And Baylor knows how to keep their composure.

    I still contend that there aren't many important conclusions to be drawn from these sub-playoff bowl games. Ole Miss' QB honestly shouldn't have bothered to play.

    BUT - I don't need a bowl game to tell me Baylor looks like a stout, overachieving team with the capability to dominate the new Big 12.
