An early ROY poll and discussion. Is it too early to call? I believe Cade will likely win it if healthy, but IMO I think Scottie Barns is probably going to be the best player if he ever develops his shooting. I am probably most surprised by Mobley, kid looks fluid

Voted none but one will get it.

Scottie's rebounding numbers are very impressive.

it’s Scottie Barnes with Mobley a close 2nd so far

Cade Cunningham has been impressive with his rebounding, assisting, and defense to this point, but he has not been making shots…if he had any sort of efficiency, he would be 3rd

Now that Siakam is back in the rotation, Barnes' numbers might go down. Thinking Mobley will win.

Stupid Giddy is ahead of Sengun and Green
    • Sengun needs more minutes,
    • Green could look better with the new spacing.

If only Silas did this at the start of season.

    Current list:
    1) Mobley (*sighs at Stone)
    2) Barnes
    3) Cade
    4) Giddy
    5) Wagner
    6) Herbert Jones
    7) Sengun (*sighs at Silas)
    8) Duarte
    9) 'bones' Hyland
    10) Jeremiah Robinson-Earl
    11) Jalen Green (*sighs at Silas)
    12) Suggs
    13) Davion Mitchell
    ...
    17) Garuba
    ,,,,
    26) Christopher

I see, Green is still in the race when he is not even playing.

    How is Garuba 17th?

My post was Dec 2nd. Was a snapshot in time.
    • Looks like Garuba went down to 20th. But yea, if you mean how he is on the list when he has played so little. :D
    • Green has that cute little 'ambulance' icon next to his name.
    • Heaven Mobley and Scottie 'beam me up' Barnes are neck and neck for the top spot.

Franz Wagner has to get a honorable mention. Reminds me of prime Chandler Parsons. Lol.

    updated opinion

Mobley, Barnes, then Cade…Franz, Green, and Giddey in the next tier

Cade in his past 12 games

    19, 5, and 6…46/44/83 shooting splits…57% TS

I believe it will be Green, he is about to go on a scoring terror in the NBA. I can see him scoring at least 20 points a game in the next ten games and two of them scoring more than 30 points. His number will not be high in assists and rebounds but he might average 20 points a game when the season is over. I can see him winning some games at the end and beating some quality defenders in big games. Green is going to be fine and I still like Green over Mobley. Mobley is nice but I rather have a KOBE instead of a Duncan......more excitements. Both are SUPER STAR players. Also, I sleep better at night knowing Sengun has the abilities(elite passing and rebounding) and NBA IQ to be a STAR player in the league. We just need a point guard(we need Simmons).
