    Lou Dort

Some guys like Holiday, Deandre Liggins, Marcus Smart, PJ Tucker, I've seen give Harden a tough time, but never have I seen an individual guy make Harden work harder for a bucket than Lou Dort.

NBA tampering is like Russian tampering of US affairs. You know it's there. The question is, how deep do you want to dig, and how much can you do about it?

Rules against tampering will never be truly enforceable as long as players have agents that can talk to each other and to their clients.

What's the drawback of just removing all tampering rules and let it be a free for all at all times? There must be a practical reason, but I can't really think of any. The NBA doesn't want distractions of Woj announcing during the season that a player has decided to sign with another team the following year?

Could it be for the players' benefit? So they aren't bombarded with contract proposals until after they've had a chance to chill out from the previous season? Allows teams a set amount of time to work out their future roster needs/wants without having to jump at guys right out the gate?

    That'll show 'em!

If the NBA was serious as treating this as a competitive balance-harming rule violation, they would impose a competitive penalty, like suspending the player or even better, docking the team wins or playoff seeding or something (like they would in Soccer, for example.)

As is it's hardly impressive or a deterrent - Pat Riley won't be around in 2028 even if it was a 1st round pick forfeiture

Are they going to penalize players collusion (a.k.a. banana boat business).

that was my first thought. But then I considered they might not have all that solid of evidence. Or they just do t really care that much. You’ll get penalized but you can live with it.
