You start shooting a few of these thieves and I guarantee they'll triple think about coming in and stealing from your establishment.

Someone stole something out of my garage a few weeks ago and I'm still pissed about it. Filed a police report knowing they'll never find my property but cop told me shoot to kill if you catch them trying again. Don't know if I want to do that over just power tools or something but you never know.

He did, I was surprised that he would say such a thing but it is Texas after all. I spoke with a friend of mines who's an attorney and he said absolutely not unless your life is in danger or you'll probably end up with charges.

    Meanwhile, in Georgia:

COBB COUNTY, Ga. (CBS46) -- A certain kind of technology is expanding in Georgia pharmacies to help fight the opioid crisis.

CVS Health announced all of 355 of its pharmacies in Georgia now have time delay safes in place.

The goal is to prevent robberies from people wanting to get their hands on addictive opioids because it electronically delays the time it takes for employees to open the safe. It can't be overridden. Robbers who want to get in and get out quickly would not be able to reach the main supply of the medication.

    Wow
This is sad. A young African America small business owner who is selling sneakers to sneaker heads got robbed.
    He’s not Foot Locker.

No they can steal what the law lets them

Why Shoplifting Is Now De Facto Legal In California

Why is shoplifting so rampant? Because state law holds that stealing merchandise worth $950 or less is just a misdemeanor, which means that law enforcement probably won’t bother to investigate, and if they do, prosecutors will let it go.

There will be no consequences except that which the stores enforce themselves. These people are generally fully masked and driving vehicles without license plates. The only solution is armed guards that are willing to resist these mobs with force, up to and including deadly force. Without consequences, expect these brazen thefts to continue and escalate.

The other option is to eliminate brick and mortar stores and just go 100% online.
