It’s 2 months after the deal was signed, so he’s eligible now. I don’t think a Wood trade would happen until the deadline but December 15 is definitely a day to circle.

actually the time is the only unknown here... you may have nothing but a few days left
wood is an allstar and your picks can only hope they become another wood...this would be worse then okc trading alperen sengun for 2 insignificant picks...HIGHWAY ROBBERY

Trading Theis is the right move. Trading House or Augustin is as well.

Trading Wood will be compounding bad move after bad move, and this FO cannot afford to do that.

It's FA rep was already bad to begin with.

Unless Rockets can get a young All Star or similar caliber back which is highly unlikely.

The smart teams would ADD to this core instead.

Rockets have more than enough young players and high draft picks as it is.

See what you can get for Theis too! Even if it's a low first or high 2nd.

Right, when his trade value is really low.

If he gets to 20 ppg - 5 - 5 then there is interest.

Reminds me of stone’s “we have strong first round offers for oladipo”

wood puts up nice stats , but consider me not sold on his being an important player on a good team .

If you get better value coming in than you trade out for your franchise, you always trade.

People shouldn't be getting too attached to guys on a 10 win team.

But like others have said: possible smokescreen.

    I'm here for the ride.

    Stone opens with:

“you can have you some Wood but you got to be willing to take a Wall too”

I do also until I realize that his contract is up next year and there is no way we are going to contend by then. Also that he has stated he expects a max deal next, so resigning him looks bleak.

If we get the right part in return, I am good with it.

I know he had a monster game the other night but you gotta ship him.
