Self motivation. From what I read Poole logged the longest hours in the gym among all warriors for the last two or three years
it's wild to me more players dont have this kind of work ethic. They are giving you a state of the art facility to work on your game, might as well use it. the benefit is potentially millions of dollars.. I don't know, maybe the people who we think aren't working are def working just as hard, but it's just not showing through in the game.
silas apologist will go to such a length to prove coaching doesnt matter... role players always killed rockets during the gsw dynasty battles..it was never curry or klay i was afraid of... kerr made his role players insanely good and clutch af....of course it also helps role player to play better if refs are helpful as well
i bet you any money nwaba isnt spending nearly as much time practicing 3s as jordan poole (if nwaba indeed practices 3s at all)
Agreed that it was a good no call. Refs have trouble with these plays and call it both ways because its so fast and congested. They have to determine if the rule of verticality applies or if the defender jumps forward in a split second. At the same time, the offensive player is also jumping into the defender making it harder to determine. Worked out well for the Warriors though because Curry would proceed to hit 3 ridiculous 3 pointers in a minute to blow the game open shortly thereafter.
Isn't this taunting the ref? Any other player doing this (except maybe Lebron), would have been called for his second tech and tossed immediately.
