All eyes are on the Tigers at this point.

Including Semien their estimated luxury tax payroll is 91ish million. They could easily bring in Correa if they wanted. I think they will split the money up between another hitter and a starter.

In no way does the Neris signing affect the ability to sign Correa

Agreed. Semien was their premier signing for this offseason.

For the most part MC is a good dude but I swear at times he comes off dbag when it comes to his Astros takes. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinions but he just comes off as the Astros guru.

He acted the same way when Dwight Howard was with the Rockets.

Apparently they are still on Story. Semien would play 2nd base.

Wow, that's a ridiculous overpay for Semien. What are the Rangers thinking??

As far as I’m concerned, the Rangers can have Story, but, between the two, Semien is the bigger signing. He was an MVP candidate last season.

Lunhow is the GOAT in my book but you don't give Click any credit and **** on everything he does and yes Click has done some good things you come of like a scorned ex.

And once again you ignore everything else he has done and act like he made 1 to 1 choices.

How the hell is the Castro signing stopping anything?

You act like Lunhow did no wrong.

For the right price Conforto would be a good pickup for the Astros. A roughly equivalent hitter to Correa and a solid defender in RF who will cost probably 1/4 of what Correa will cost. I don’t necessarily relish the idea of Tucker as the everyday CF but it won’t be the end of the world and it’ll only be for a year.

Not sure I think he's worth losing the comp pick. Only Story and Ray I could stomach losing the pick over.

But if Conforto returns to form and stays consistent I'll like that. Rumor is per someone else with sources, don't completely rule out a Brantley trade. Conforto would play RF and Tucker CF most likely, not sure how the FO feels about that.

Yea... would also cost the 2nd round pick and international money because he turned down the qualifying offer.

I'll pass on Conforto especially with the QO penalty

At least we don't have Tal's Hill out there to stumble over.
