You can't. It's absurd. Just like everyone thought Harold Minor was the next Michael Jordan

This team is balling right now. Green and Wall come off the bench if they want to play.

Lol, " balling" as in won consecutive games over the Ball brothers.

Otherwise, I know we've fallen far but..it hasn't been that long since the Rockets were good that you can't remember it.

So without wading through pages of back and forth, do we know what the injury is?

We're not contenders but we are 100% playing better right now. It looks like a different team out there.

    Not really.

So your guess is as good as any.

Unfortunately the dumber fans won't realize we've wasted our pick until his career is over in houston. The good news is the dumber fans typically don't buy tickets, so they can't influence ownership behavior anyway.

Sure. If in 3-4 weeks when Green is fullly healthy- this is still happening - maybe I'd even entertain the suggestion that it's more important to play DJ Augustine and keep rolling the dice that Gordon doesn't get hurt like always before he can be traded and keep Green (who played -well- in the first triumph this week) on the bench.

Entertain it for a minute before dismissing it after realizing the objective of this season.

But anyway, the likelihood of this happening is not high. It's great the Rockets got some good mean regression from behind the arc last night! But, not going to happen every night

They’ve barely won two games, (one in OT) by hitting 47% from 3.

Anything less than extreme success with high volume from distance = loss.

That’s not even close to sustainable which is why you need a superstar to push your team and get buckets when shots aren’t falling. Green has the best potential and he needs the most minutes to reach it.

Hammy strain, re-evaluated after a week or so.

Grade 1 hamstring, physical therapists suspect. (Grade 1 is minor, better than a grade 2).

    --- --- ---- ---
What do you think is the timetable for Green's return?
If they are saying re-evaluation in a week that sounds like a Grade 1 injury so we are looking at 2-4 weeks
There is no need to re-evaluate a Grade 2 in a week because they aren’t playing for a month to 6 weeks minimum

Is this the type of injury that could linger throughout the year?
It sounds like a Grade 1 and is still going to take 2-4 weeks to recover from but there is less chance of recurrence IF they let it heal because the muscle imbalances weren’t present to predispose you to this injury

This most likely happened because he had a counterforce pushing down on him while he tried to explode upwards. This matters because it is different than a non-contact hamstring injury which is how most of them are and how his was in Summer League

Yeah. Sounds like something he can still practice shooting with too. Go get up 10,000 shots a day and come back on NBA jam fire. He's already tweaked his hamstrings twice this year. Let him rest and hone the blade in practice.

What won’t be talked about and I just verified these number to make sure, is that Charlotte has the absolute WORST defense in the Eastern Conference and the 3rd worst defense in the entire NBA in regards to points allowed. Their defensive rating is 26th out of 30. New Orleans and Orlando, our next two opponents whom we play 3 games against are 27th and 28th in defensive rating.

So expect more high scoring games, people saying the team is better off without Green because we’re dropping big point totals on 3 of the worst defensive teams in the league even though the notable offensive change actually started in the 1st quarter of the Bulls game (a good team with a top 6 rated defense) and a game where Theis didn’t start, there was space, and Green looked really good and led the team with 11 points.

Mathews and Brooks are better catch and shoot players than JG right now. Mathews is 25 and Brooks is 23. Where we’re they as players when they were 19 like Jalen?
