Yeah, I know. But I was talking to my son, Derrick about how much fun it was fun to hear in the past 20 films the unique Bond song. His response?

"Fun fact: the usage of themes across episodes of movies or TV shows was pioneered by Richard Wagner in his operas. The Daniel Craig Bond movies are epic and the scores live up to it."

So, what was your favorite Bond song?

The best bond theme is not in a bond film. it's Snake Eater from the Metal Gear series. I dont make the rules.

Totally counts. Still need to play From Russia with Love and Blood Stone, but one of my favorite PS2 games was Everything or Nothing. Damn thing had a plot and theme like any other Bond movie.

goldfinger is the most iconic imo.

second place would have to be live and let die.

of the more recent films i really liked the one jack white and alicia keys did - i heard a lot of people say it sucked, which i dont get. i think they did a really good job of capturing the vibe of a proper bond theme and they even incorporated a variation of the main bond riff into their song too.

you only live twice is sublime - very pretty song. nancy sinatra did a great job on that one. the arrangement is appropriately grandiose with the orchestra and even that fuzzy guitar line.

the most poppy/saccharine one is nobody does it better - this one really captures the 70's roger moore vibe.

duran duran view to a kill is the most kick ass one.

Anything from the cheese ball 1970’s early 80’s Roger Moore moves always has my heart. I would always catch them on channel 13 (ABC) late at night if I was sick.

Had a college GF sing this to me after our second relationship. She still talks to me 25 years later.

Probably the best complement a girl can give. Oh, and her husband hates me.
