My wife forgot to buy some ingredients and had to go to the store. She said it was her, a bunch of pissed off husbands looking for spices and a bunch of young guys buying beer.
That's certainly one way to keep from setting your wooden deck on fire. Pretty much whenever my brother and I show up.
I admit Surfguy's thread about his dad has got to me. I'm just getting ready to head out for dinner with some family and then am stopping for dessert at the home of a very dear friend who passed away last February leaving behind her husband and two kids. I've been really missing her this Fall as we were both baseball fans, she a Red Sox fan. This is going to be even harder for her husband and kids. It's sad to think too how many Thanksgiving out there are missing someone that we cared about and lost recently. Sorry to be a downer y'all and hope all of you have a great Thanksgiving with people you love.
Our oven was briefly on fire. No joke, daughter came running with a fire extinguisher ..wife jumping up and down unable to express coherent words. Other daughter with a broom trying to cut off fire alarm on ceiling….I was the calm one and simply put out the fire with a glass of water slowly but I was a tad nervous everything was ok and turkey actually came out ok. It was memorable lol
Red pulled my dad!! No more cnn or msnbc!! He's officially off the democrat plantation!! This is the best Thanksgiving ever!!! Ambrosia, it's a fruit salad, good ****.
